How do I log in?

When you sign up for Oikos, you receive a welcome email, containing your Oikos address and your password. Click the link in the email to go to your Oikos. Click the “Login” button in the lower-right corner, enter your email address and password. You’re in!

What do I do if I’ve forgotten my password?

Click the “Login” button. In the dialog that opens, click “Forgot your password?” Enter your email address and we will send you your password.

How do I join an Oikos?

Click the “Request Membership” button in the bottom-right corner of the Oikos. Enter your name and email address, then an email will be sent to the Oikos administrator. When you are approved you will receive a welcome email with login information.

How do I change my account photo?

Click the Account button in the bottom-right corner of your Oikos. Click where it says “Click to change your photo”. You can choose from the default set or upload your own image.

How do I change my password?

Click the Account button in the bottom-right corner of your Oikos. Click “Change Password”. You will be asked to enter your old password and then create a new one.

How do I change my privacy settings?

Click the Account button in the bottom-right corner of your Oikos. Under “Privacy” you can adjust the settings for your account.

How do I remove my account?

Click the Account button in the bottom-right corner of your Oikos. Click “Remove Account”. This will permanently delete your account.

Why can’t I add a calendar event?
Oikos has a permissions system which lets the administrator control what can and can’t be added to your Oikos. If you do not see the “Add Event” button, you do not have permission to add calendar events.

Why can’t I add albums or media?
Oikos has a permissions system which lets the administrator control what can and can’t be added to your Oikos. If you do not see the “Add Album” or “Add Media” button, you do not have permission to add albums or media.

Why can’t I create a forum category or topic?
Oikos has a permissions system which lets the administrator control what can and can’t be added to your Oikos. If you do not see the “Add Category” or “Add Topic” button, you do not have permission to add forum categories or topics.
